Jay Kapoor

I like building things and figuring out how they work. I started a healthcare-access platform for rural communities, and I spent the last year in the founder's office at a fintech startup, working on growth, strategy, and investment research.

I'm studying Economics & Statistics at the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Information Sciences, and I do research across a few Pitt / UPMC labs. I gravitate toward products that reach underserved users, and toward the research habits behind good investment calls.

Longer term, I want to build and back companies in parallel — somewhere between a venture studio and an investment firm.
